Goal Setting

It is important to have goals in every area of your life, especially your health and fitness. Goals start from a thought and grow into a passion within you. Goals guide, direct and give us vision and focus. The key is to look at your aspirations and then define them in terms of concrete, attainable goals that you can act on. Once you set a goal, you need a plan. Not a general plan like “walk more”or “eat better”; your plan has to have specific steps and strategies, as well as short- and long-term goals. Within a goal you may have several smaller goals.
